I’ve been playing trumpet since I was young, and music has always been a central part of my life. Before shifting toward science, I trained as a professional musician and completed a BFA in Jazz Performance at The New School in New York. I still play regularly, and the mindset of a jazz musician—curiosity, playfulness, and improvisation—continues to guide my work. Keep swinging.
